Similar to a country civil search in that it pulls non-criminal information about disputes between two parties; however, federal civil pertains to lawsuits based on violations of federal stature including Constitutional rights and other Congressional laws. Records are searched at the appropriate US District Court. Average turnaround time is two to three business days following submission of the signed applicant release.
